Join IMPULSE Magazine at CHART gallery (74 Franklin St) on Tuesday, 3/17 for an IMPULSE Forum moderated by Vinh Phu Pham, PhD in conversation with Portraits, an exhibition of Mariah Robertson's work. Doors will open at 6:00pm, and the conversation will begin by 6:30pm.

This discussion considers what happens when photography moves away from conventional representation. Through abstraction, color, chemical process, and gesture, Robertson’s work unsettles the expectations of portraiture and invites viewers to reconsider how painting and photography intersect in shaping the ways we observe and interpret the world.
