Migration in Dialogue is a conversation series that presents the human dimension of politics and law. Spotlighting the stories of immigrants who work in the arts and culture industry, we delve into how migration and movement complicate everyday issues such as healthcare, mental well-being, personal finances, professional development, and family life. We situate the stories of immigrant creatives within the broader context of nationhood and contemporary politics. We hope to problematize the arbitrariness of borders and nationhood, writing a history of multiples—optimism, resilience, mundaneness, solidarity, sadness, fulfillment, and more.
